The Haven of Rest is about helping people meet their needs for food, shelter, clothing, a new start, forgiveness, peace, stability, love, freedom from a life controling problem in a Christian environment. The Haven of Rest Men's Shelter provides 28 beds for homeless men. The Haven Home is a safe place for 8 women and their children. The Haven Lighthouse is a 12 bed, 8-month residential program for men with life-controling problems. The Food Ministry provides meal service for all residents and an open evening meal. The Food Pantry provides substantial groceries for needy families in the mornings, Tuesdays through Fridays. The Haven Thrift Store provides clothing and essential household and furniture items for those starting over and sells other items to benefit the Mission. The Haven of Rest is a community resource for questions about drug & alcohol addicitions and their treatment, homelessness and the Christian Faith. The Haven of Rest is a referral place to other organizations in the Tri-Cities that help people in need.
